CSBC Bihar Police Driver Constable Recruitment 2025 – Apply Now for 4361 Posts
The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar has published an official notification for the recruitment of 4361 Driver Constable vacancies. These are regular posts in the Bihar Police department. The notification was announced on 17th July 2025 and the online application process will start from 21st July 2025.

Educational Qualification
Applicants should have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from a recognized board. In addition, it is compulsory to hold a valid LMV or HMV driving license issued before 17th July 2024.
Age Limit
The age limit for Driver Constable is 20 to 25 years as on 01/08/2025. There is age relaxation: for BC/EBC males upper limit is 27 years, BC/EBC females 28 years, and SC/ST/Transgender candidates can apply up to 30 years.
Salary Structure
The selected candidates will receive salary in the pay scale of Rs. 21,700 to 69,100 under Pay Level-3 along with other allowances as per Bihar government norms.
Selection Process
The selection involves multiple stages. First, there will be a written exam of 100 marks, which is qualifying in nature. Then, shortlisted candidates will go through a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) including running and jumps. A Driving Skill Test of 100 marks will follow, based on which the final merit list is prepared. Lastly, selected candidates will undergo document verification.
